Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor who is best well-known for her character of Detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue in which she won the Emmy Award. Her most well-known role is her part on All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was born as the sole child of her homemaker mother and high-ranking executive of the United Auto Workers. Delaney lived most of her life in the company of four brothers. She envisioned becoming a court reporter during childhood but started modelling while at high school, eventually earning commercials when she moved into New York. In 1981, she appeared as an innocent teenager in the film All My Children. The career of Delaney has been filled by a myriad of TV films and dramas. The way she lives her life, unlike her professional life hasn't been successful and happy. She is skilled and stunning, has had to battle addiction to alcohol in the past. She has also had marriages that ended in failure two times. The actress lost custody of her son in 2005.
